Pay dating sites worth it

So basically you're paying to send emails to people who can't write back. Even though they do the same, I like better than or My contact / response rate on that was about the same as what I've experienced on POF, so I don't think I'll bother with pay sites anymore. And you must make the hard choice of contact or archive or "no matches for you! They sent lots of 'matches' (according to them) but they weren't really matches.

In addition, I think paysites tend to foster a sense of entitlement and unrealistic expectations in a lot of people. "match is the largest and well, bigger pond type of thing. Get your profile reviewed by the awsome people in the review sectioin (who have declined my request for latest revew btw :help ) and use this site to experiment so you can get yourself in shape. Also, they 'match' you with people who haven't even signed up for the site and so you can think someone might be a good match but when you try to communicate they are not a member.

If, on the other hand, every time you open your credit card statement there's a little sum going to Match or e Harmony, it's another nudge to push you back to the computer and make sure you're getting enough bang for your buck. Rudder makes in his argument is that the user stats given out by Match and e Harmony don't take into account profiles people don't use anymore, or users who haven't paid and so can't receive messages. Free sites have the same problem – probably to an even worse degree.

And, if you’re a savvy online dater, there are ways you can get round it.

I think many females are only interested in talking to Mr Right, and like to guess and assume who that might or might not be, instead of finding out first hand.

unfortunately I think to many women on these dating sites either are only half serious, to self flattering or quick to make assumptions before they really know.myself i live too far away from a major city for a dating site to really be effective . but it depends on your situation and numerous other factors . So I'd contact them again and mysteriously during that time the profiles would be changed. I find it hilarious when people write on POF that they're going to try the paid sites because they're bound to be better - after all, you get what you paid for they say.The thing I hate about paid sites is that people can sign up and make a profile without paying, you just can't respond or email anybody. How does that work when many of the same people are on multiple sites? So if you pay and then search for people, you're going to find alot who haven't paid and they can't respond to you if they're interested. I agree and most paysites...women can join for free and have all the bennefits without paying. The thing I hate about paid sites is that people can sign up and make a profile without paying, you just can't respond or email anybody. So basically you're paying to send emails to people who can't write back. I think that paysites would work better if everyone had to pay. That way only serious people would join and wouldn't be wasting anyones time or money . As for e Harmony been there for a while and women treat me pretty much the same as here. Very frustrating...i am a paying member on singlesnet and i have met several from there. As long as the person your interested in is a paying member you can email and not have to pay. OPDon't listen to the Debby Downers :-)I looked at your profile and that match dot com place you may actually be ok. So if you pay and then search for people, you're going to find alot who haven't paid and they can't respond to you if they're interested.
